2024, toxic rain is making life difficult for humans, and yet another threat – the so-called Lucifer Hawks, demons from the dimension of Nemesis, are attacking humans, and no one can tell what they are up to and where they will strike next. They have been coming to our world for over 20 years, ever since Project Gaia, which was supposed to save the Earth in 1999, failed and cost the lives of millions.

In 2023, Rally Cheyenne formed a group to effectively fight back against the Lucifer Hawks, the Attacked Mystification Police. This consists of four women with special talents. Kiddy Phenil, a former policewoman who was able to save her life through cyborg implants, Nami Yamigumo, a Shinto priestess who fights the Lucifer Hawks with talismans. Furthermore, Yuki Saito, a seer and Lebia Maverick, a living computer.

As the series kicks off, we meet the main character, Katsumi Liqueur, daughter of the man who once ran Gaia and possesses the powers that make her especially valuable to AMP. Under a pretext, Rally asks the businesswoman to come to Tokyo and slowly familiarises her with the project. Katsumi is given a quick version of police training under Robert “Roy” Device, who soon becomes a close friend. As the series progresses, the plot gains both fantastical elements and character-driven drama, with no shortage of action.

2024, giftiger Regen macht den Menschen das Leben schwer und noch eine andere Bedrohung – die sogenannten Lucifer Hawks, Dämonen aus der Dimension Nemesis, greifen Menschen an und niemand kann sagen, was sie vorhaben und wo sie als Nächstes zuschlagen werden. Seit über 20 Jahren kommen sie in unsere Welt, seitdem das Projekt Gaia im Jahre 1999, das die Erde retten sollte, scheiterte und Millionen Menschen das Leben kostete.

2023 formierte Rally Cheyenne eine Gruppe, um sich effektiv gegen die Lucifer Hawks zur Wehr zu setzen, die Attacked Mystification Police. Diese besteht aus vier Frauen mit speziellen Begabungen. Kiddy Phenil, ehemalige Polizistin, die ihr Leben durch Cyborgimplantate retten konnte, Nami Yamigumo, Shinto Priesterin, die mit Talismanen gegen die Lucifer Hawks kämpft. Des Weiteren Yuki Saito, eine Seherin und Lebia Maverick, eine Art lebender Computer.

Als die Serie einsetzt, treffen wir auf die Hauptperson Katsumi Liqueur, Tochter des Mannes, der einst Gaia leitete und die Kräfte besitzt, die sie für AMP besonders wertvoll machen. Unter einem Vorwand bittet Rally die Geschäftsfrau nach Tokio und macht sie langsam mit dem Projekt vertraut. Katsumi erhält eine Schnellfassung einer polizeilichen Ausbildung unter Robert »Roy« Device, der bald ein enger Freund wird. Im Laufe der Serie gewinnt die Handlung sowohl an fantastischen Elementen, als auch an charakterlicher Dramatik, bei der die Action nicht zu kurz kommt.
